2 Roll out the Studrail on the fixing side, cut back at one end sufficient plastic to expose the wire. Pass through pre-drilled holes in the straining post and tighten ratchets securing one end. Fig E
1 Intermediate posts can be spaced at 6-10ft intervals. The Studrail should be erected along the centre line of the straining posts with intermediate offset. Fig D
The alternative method to ensure the construction of strong end strainers necessary to hold the high tensile wire within Studrail is by means of a diagonal strut system.

4 To save waste, Studrail can be joined by the use of links. Cut back the plastic leaving a tongue and simply slide on. Fig G
3 Hang up the Studrail at suitable intervals by tacking brackets on. Make sure that the Studrail is not twisted.
Tighten the ratchets at the other end and finally fix by hammering down the brackets with nails or screwing tightly on all the intermediate posts to ensure a good, straight rail. Fig F
Alternative Wire Vice End Fixing Method
Instead of using the Ratchet method described above, the Wire Vice end fixing method can be used for a neat way to fix off the opposite end to the Ratchets.
This method can alos be used for short runs.
Roll out the Studrail on the fixing side. Cut back at one end sufficient plastic to expose the wire. Pass through pre-drilled holes on the straining post. Slide on the vices securing one end. Fig H
